Timestamp fields that supports time zones

Hi

Is it possible to create a custom field that automatically stores the time zone, just as the last modified and created fields does (i.e. a time stamp)?

The reason why I'm asking is because we got multiple offices in different time zones and we store booking information about events that will take place in the future (date + time). E.g. someone in the US might make a booking for an event that is scheduled to run in the UK.
