Login Opinion Wanted

I'm creating a Data Synching app with NetSuite and another application, and I'm new to C#.

This app will eventually be a service, but is being developed as a winforms app, so I can learn as I go.

Should I log in/log out with each data call, or log in once per application use, and log out when I close the application?

Thanks for any opinions on the matter!
