Unsubscribe is mandatory field

Hi. I'm new to SuiteTalk and I'm building my interfaces in ASP.NET 2.0 - VB. I am trying to add a customer record.  It errors with a response status message stating that Unsubscribe is a required field.  I am setting the unsubscribe field to FALSE.  Any ideas?
