Add Email (Message)?

Hi all, I'm new to Suiteflex and was wondering if anyone has some VB.Net (or other) code to add messages and link them to contacts/customers/employees.

I understand the basic principles of creating the email but am currently struggling to search for a contact to return as a RecordRef to the message recipient field.
