SuiteApprovals 3.0 - System Generated Journal Entries

We recently installed SuiteApprovals 3.0 in our Production environment, only for Journal Entries right now. However, after I set up our approval rule, I noticed that system-generated (allocation and amortization) entries, when created, get rejected right away, but once edited by someone with the appropriate approval limit and saved, they are approved. Is there a way to include these types of journal entries, that do not have an employee creator, in the approval flow so that they aren't rejected when first created? We don't have many right now, but if the volume increases, this adds an extra step in the
