Weighted Average of Outstanding Records

I'm trying to create a weighted average cost of capital.  In Excel it's very simple its the it would be the Sum of ((a*x) + (b*x) / Total of X).  It seems like this should be an easy thing to do in NS, but am having some trouble getting it to work.
