How to make a SDF-based SuiteApp publicly findable/installable

So,

We completed the build of a SuiteApp using SDF tools and best practices in our Development account (SDN).  Now, we have a few BETA customer we'd like to distribute this new SuiteAPP too.  I'm at a loss on how to do this properly.  How do we get this SuiteApp into our Deployment account (SDN) and make it publicly findable/installable to these customers?

Please don't tell me I need to use SuiteBundler.  Was the whole point of SDF to 'not' use that style of distribution?

Any thoughts/insights or experience out there?
