REMINDER: Notification of Upcoming Retirement of Submit on Update Setting for SCIS
This notice is intended for customers who are using SuiteCommerce InStore (SCIS).
What is Changing?
Please be advised that the Submit on Update check box on the SCIS Settings record will be deprecated on May 21, 2019 in the SCIS 2019.1 release.
Use Execute Client Scripts Instead of Submit on Update
The Execute Client Scripts check box was implemented to enable the system to execute AvaTax integration code as Client Scripts. As of SCIS 2019.1, best practice is to use the Execute Client Scripts setting with AvaTax integrations.
Required Actions
- Test the behavior of the Execute Client Scripts checkbox on your Sandbox account.
- Prior to the SCIS 2019.1 release, ensure that the Submit on Update box is not checked in your account.
