REMINDER: Deprecation of Cipher Suites That Use SHA-1 for TLS Communication
NetSuite monitoring tools have determined that some accounts are still using a cipher suite that uses the SHA-1 algorithm for secure communication with NetSuite. Secure communication with NetSuite is subject to the Transport Layer Security (TLS) protocol. The cipher suites using the SHA1 algorithm are no longer considered secure. TLS v1.2 is the only version of TLS that is acceptable for secure communication with NetSuite. You should be using higher level cipher suites introduced with TLS 1.2 and that are supported for use in the NetSuite application.
For more information, see Supported TLS Protocol and Cipher Suites, SuiteAnswers ID 84138. In this article, AES128-SHA is an example of a cipher suite that is scheduled for deprecation.
