OpenAir | SHA1 Ciphers Deprecation
As of the October 2019.2 release, OpenAir will be deprecating support for weak SHA1 ciphers, and adding support for new, stronger ciphers, as part of our ongoing commitment to security best practices. Please notify your IT / Technical team about this requirement ASAP.
Support for stronger ciphers will be added ahead of the 2019.2 October release and will be available in both Sandbox and Production from September 13, 2019. SHA1 ciphers will be disabled on Sandbox on September 23, 2019. Deprecated ciphers will continue to work on production for a short time after the release, but will be disabled on January 15, 2020. This applies to:
- Browser access: Users should update to the latest browser versions and OS versions to ensure they are using up to date ciphers.
