Change of Tax Data Provider in NetSuite Legacy Tax
This notice is intended for customers using the U.S. state tax rates in your NetSuite account. Each month, NetSuite updates its database table that stores the tax rates and enables you to import up-to-date sales tax codes. Effective from August 31 2019, there will be a change of provider. The tax rates available to you via NetSuite will be from Wolters Kluwer.
Why is NetSuite Making this Change?
NetSuite is making this change so that we have a single provider for Legacy Tax and SuiteTax.
What is Changing?
The only change you might notice is that names of some tax codes and groups may differ from those used before. For examples, see the following table.
