retrieve ID of auto-numbered custom record via record module
I have a custom record that has auto-numbering set. Nothing complicated - just zero-pads the id.
If I create a search I can retrieve this id with this column:
search.createColumn({
name: "name",
sort: search.Sort.ASC,
label: "ID"
})
Now I want to retrieve that value in a user event script. Nothing I've tried will work. doing record.getValue({fieldId: 'name'}) silently returns nothing.
Retrieving 'id' returns the non-zero-padded id.
Is there a way to do this?
