Make Terms Field On Customer Record Not Editable To Certain Roles

We are trying to disable the terms field from being edited except by Accounting. I made the field Inline Text on the form, but as an Admin I could't Edit it after and new customers inherit default terms. Is there a way in the system to only allow accounting and administrators to edit this field? I couldn't find anything in SuiteAnswers nor on role permissions.
