NSPOS Server Migration to Oracle Cloud Infrastructure
This announcement is intended for customers who are using NetSuite Point of Sale (NSPOS).
NSPOS servers will be migrating to the Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI). As the next generation of NetSuite service delivery, Oracle Cloud Infrastructure allows NetSuite to automatically and programmatically allocate compute resources, storage, the database, and the network–all in the cloud.
What is Happening?
Starting January 4, 2020, we will begin migrating all NSPOS servers from the current infrastructure to Oracle’s new OCI services. The migration will occur across our customer base in phases. To ensure each customer experiences a smooth migration, we will migrate your sandbox instances before transferring your production instance.
Regards,
@Robert Nedelkow-Oracle | NetSuite Support Community Administrator
