Adding Custom Field to Components Listing

Hello,

My organization has been using NetSuite for 15+ years. I am 5 months into my role as the NetSuite Administrator. I have been spending too much time trying to figure out something that should be easy. I need to add a field as a column in the Components listing in our Assembly/BOM record. How do I do it!? Thank you so much.
