Please be advised that NetSuite WMS Version 2019.2 or later includes significant enhancements that may affect existing customizations in your account.
NetSuite WMS version 2019.2 introduced enhancements that added new fields, pages, preferences, records, and system rules that may replace existing elements.
Why is Oracle NetSuite Making These Changes?
Oracle NetSuite is making these changes to provide an improved and more performant product for the management of your warehouse.
When Do These Changes Take Effect?
These changes were available in your account after the upgrade to NetSuite WMS Version 2019.2 and you must complete the required steps to enable the new capabilities before NetSuite Version 2020.2. If you do not explicitly enable the new capabilities, you can continue to use your NetSuite WMS implementation as you did previous to NetSuite Version 2019.2.
Recommended Actions
Oracle NetSuite recommends that you take time to become familiar with these enhancements and upgrade to the new functionality at your earliest convenience.
IMPORTANT: You must enable the new capabilities in your NetSuite WMS account before the fall of 2020. The functionality in NetSuite WMS Versions 2019.1 and previous will no longer be available when your account is upgraded to the NetSuite Version 2020.2 in the fall of 2020.
If you have existing customizations that reference the deprecated fields, pages, preferences, records, or system rules, you must make the necessary changes to remove or update these references.
When you enable the new capabilities, you will use an available script to migrate your existing data from the old fields and records to the corresponding new fields and records. For more information, see the NetSuite WMS Upgrade Guide.
What is Changing?
NetSuite WMS version 2019.2 introduced the following enhancements:
