SuiteCommerce InStore 2019.2.6 Automatic Log Out and Fallback Storage Alerts
This notifice is intended for customers who use NetSuite SuiteCommerce InStore (SCIS).
What is Changing?
NetSuite has released SCIS 2019.2.6. This SCIS release includes two updates of which you should be aware:
- Automatic Log Out – Length of time change to 30 minutes
Security guidelines for the retail industry recommend limiting the time a point-of-sale (POS) device will stay logged in during an idle session. An idle session is a period in which the application receives no manual input from a sales associate or other user.
The NetSuite custom SCIS Settings record, General subtab, includes a setting called Automatic Log Out. This setting determines the length of time a session can be idle on a device before the user is automatically logged out.
