Increase of SuiteCommerce InStore Automatic Log Out Time
This notice is intended for customers who use SuiteCommerce InStore (SCIS).
SCIS 2019.2.6 included a change to the Automatic Log Out default and maximum length-of-time. This field sets the length of time an idle SCIS point-of-sale (POS) device will remain active before it is automatically logged out. The maximum time allowed in the release was 30 minutes.
What is Changing?
We have increased the maximum Automatic Log Out time to 180 minutes. This increase is in response to feedback from our customer community. The default time for all new setups will stay at 30 minutes.
This change to the maximum length of time was released with SCIS 2019.2.8 on April 14, 2020.
