Change to SuiteScript 2.x Annotated Server Scripts

This notice is intended for customers who have at least one SuiteScript script file in your NetSuite account that has a 2.x version annotation, meaning an @NApiVersion value of 2.x. You should be aware that the mapping of this 2.x value to a SuiteScript version will change in the future. This change will apply only to server script types, such as user event scripts and scheduled scripts. It will not apply to client scripts.

What Will Change?

Currently, server scripts with an @NApiVersion value of 2.x run as SuiteScript 2.0 scripts. With the NetSuite 2021.1 release, server scripts with an @NApiVersion value of 2.x will run as SuiteScript 2.1 scripts.
