SCIS Fallback Mode Alternative for Large Catalogs
This notice is intended for customers who use SuiteCommerce InStore (SCIS).Fallback mode enables sales associates to perform basic point-of-sale functions when online access to SCIS is unavailable. When Fallback mode is active on an offline SCIS mobile device, it relies on a downloaded copy of your item and price catalog. The catalog copy is refreshed each time a sales associate logs into the device.iOS and Windows devices have limits on the storage space available for a Fallback catalog, as explained in the Help Center topic Fallback and Storage Limits for Mobile Apps (SuiteAnswers ID 90969). Exceeding the storage limit could cause the SCIS application to fail on a device. |
