Restriction to Search Formulas
This notification is intended for accounts that use <script> tags in your NetSuite search formulas. To avoid cross-site scripting vulnerabilities, a new restriction will be enforced to prevent scripts from being rendered in saved search results. The implementation of this security measure is targeted for August 20, 2020. After this date, all production and sandbox accounts will include this restriction.What is Changing?Currently, formulas that include <script> tags are run automatically and saved search results display script output. The upcoming restriction will prevent these formula scripts from being rendered. After this restriction is live, search results that contain <script> tags will display a message that script output is not available. |
