Reminder: Upcoming Restriction for Search Formulas
This notice is to inform you of the upcoming restriction of <script> tags in search formulas. To avoid cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerabilities, a new restriction will be enforced to prevent scripts from being rendered in saved search results. The implementation of this security measure is targeted for August 27, 2020. After this date, all production and sandbox accounts will include this restriction.
What is Changing?
Currently, formulas that include <script> tags are run automatically and saved search results display script output. The upcoming restriction will prevent these formula scripts from being rendered. After this restriction is enforced, search results that contain <script> tags will display a message that script output is not available.
