Change to Classification for ARM and Subscription Billing in 2020.2
This notice is intended for customers who have field mappings set up for one of the classification fields (class, department, or location) between the subscription line record to the revenue element record. The behavior of these mappings changes in 2020.2.
What is changing?
After your account is upgraded to NetSuite 2020.2, the subscription line record will have its own classification fields defined. The revenue element values of existing activated subscription line records should not change from their current values, but any newly created subscriptions will use the new classification fields.
When Will This Change Occur?
This change will be in effect when your account is upgraded to NetSuite 2020.2.
Regards,
@Robert Nedelkow-Oracle | NetSuite Support Community Administrator
