Change of U.S. Tax Rate Provider for Legacy and SuiteTax Accounts
This notice is intended for customers who may be using the U.S. sales tax rates in your NetSuite account. As of January 31, 2021, the feed provider for these monthly updated rates has changed to CCH Wolters Kluwer.
What is Changing?
With the change of provider, NetSuite is mapping existing tax codes and tax groups to a new data structure. However, for some tax codes and tax groups, mapping is not possible. In such cases, we will inactivate the existing tax code and tax group and create a new tax code using the data from CCH Wolters Kluwer.
This action may result in inactivation of some of your existing tax groups. If the inactivated tax code and tax group was selected as a default, it will no longer be returned by the system.
Regards,
@Robert Nedelkow-Oracle | NetSuite Support Community Administrator
