Changes in Turnover Limit for Mandatory Electronic Invoicing in India
This notice is intended for customer who use the India Localization SuiteTax Engine SuiteApp (Bundle ID #253246).
What Is Changing?
Effective April 1, 2021, it is mandatory to generate electronic invoices for businesses in India having turnover that exceeds fifty crore rupees. The Government of India published this notification via Notification No. 05/2021–Central Tax dated March 8, 2021.
Recommended Actions
You can use the India Localization SuiteTax Engine SuiteApp to generate and process electronic invoices for your transactions. In addition, you can register your e-invoices on the Invoice Registration Portal (IRP) using ClearTax, which is added as the GST Suvidha Provider (GSP). The SuiteApp enables you to:
