How Do You Handle Rehired Employees In SuitePeople?
I'm looking for suggestions, or best practices around rehiring employees in SuitePeople/payroll. As far as we can tell, I don't see any native system functionality to support this process.
Hypothetical Situation:
- Employee is originally hired on 1/1/2020
- Employee resigns on 1/1/2021
- Employee is rehired on 3/15/2021
We would need to capture these events in the system. Right now, SuitePeople requires us to clear the original hire date (1/1/2020) and the original term date (and term details 1/1/2021).
I was thinking we should deploy a customization that would help capture the data in a custom record type, or note record?
