New Permission to Use Withholding Tax
This notice applies to customers who have installed the Withholding Tax SuiteApp in your NetSuite account.
What Is Changing?
The Withholding Tax SuiteApp v1.44.6 will add the Manage Accounting Periods permission to the roles listed below on October 19, 2021. After this change, users assigned to any of these roles will be able to edit transactions from a closed period without encountering tax validation errors.
- Accountant
- Accountant (Reviewer)
- Administrator
- CFO
- Withholding Tax Accountant
- Withholding Tax Accountant (Reviewer)
- Withholding Tax Bookkeeper
- Withholding Tax CFO
Required Actions
Custom roles that you have created to be used for withholding tax features will not have the new permission so you must add it manually. Complete the following steps to add the Manage Accounting Periods permission:
