How can I change Transactional email address for customer

We have situations where we have a customer record but it is really the architect or designer that is placing the orders for their customer. The email address on the customer record is that of the end consumer but the customer wants all transaction emails to go to the designer/architect.

Thought about using the alt email field but our historical data is pretty messy.

Short of adding a field and scripting something, does NS have anyway to support something like this?

Know it's a longshot but figured I'd ask.
