How does changing payroll item's liability account affect the GL Impact?

When I change the payroll item's liability account, the Payroll liability report shows the correct amount. But then balance sheet account is not correct. When I pay payroll liability, the amount is still effect the old account. What should I do to correct and balance balancesheet and payroll liability report?
