NetSuite Admin Tips: Create a Saved Search for Project Tasks with Time Related Columns
In project management, users check the actual time, planned time and the approved time entries logged against a project task for reporting and reconciliation:
Instead of users checking the projects and project tasks one by one, they can instead create a saved search to view all project tasks with these columns. Here’s how:
1.) Navigate to Lists > Search > Saved Searches
2.) Select Project Tasks
3.) Under Results tab:
Sort by: Project
Then by: Name
4.) In Columns subtab of the Results tab remove all and add the following:
Field: Project | Summary Type: Group
Field: Name | Summary Type: Group
Field: Planned Work | Summary Type:
Patrick Fresnosa | Advanced Accounting | SRP | Ask a Guru
