How to Create a Saved Search to Sum Qty of Opportunities in Projects?

edited Jun 2, 2025 2:34PM in Search / Reporting 5 comments

Hi,

I'm trying to create a search or a report which shows the total number of items added to an opportunity, that have been assigned a specific class. I have tried a few things but not sure if I'm starting in the right place, hence this reach out for advice. Where X is the name of a Class (they are quite complex) The main 4 fields I need to see are:

Customer Name, Opportunity Name, Document Number, Total Qty of Items where Class = X

After that, I may also need to filter/adjust the following criteria: Class (eg swap X to Y), Forecast Type, Estimated Close Date, Entity Status, Estimated Completion Date (custom opportunity field). I may also need to filter on project start date and project end date, but this would be a secondary / nice to have requirement

Howdy, Stranger!
