Germany Tax Code for Zero Percent Rate
This notice applies to customers who have installed the International Tax Reports SuiteApp and your NetSuite account has a Germany subsidiary.
What is Changing?
On May 23, 2023, the International Tax Reports SuiteApp version 3.126.0 will release the 2023 version of the Germany monthly/quarterly VAT return form with the following new boxes:
- Box 87
- Box 90
Details about the new boxes are in the following table:
Required Actions
For accounts with existing Germany nexus, you must do the following after the release of International Tax Reports SuiteApp version 3.126.0:
- Create two new 0% tax codes
- Create new 0% tax codes for taxable supplies (Box 87) and intra-community acquisitions (Box 90) by going to the Tax Code page (Setup > Accounting > Tax Codes > New). For the procedure, see
