NSC | Automate Creation of Item Receipt from Purchase Orders using Workflow
There is a requirement to automate the creation of Item Receipt depending on a condition in the Purchase Order record. In this scenario, a Custom Field was created in the Purchase Order record that will set as an indicator if an Item Receipt needs to be created.
Kindly follow the steps below to setup the Workflow:
Create a Saved Search that will identify the Purchase Order records
- Navigate to Reports > Saved Searches > All Saved Searches > New
- Click Transaction
- Search Title: Enter Title of the Saved Search
- Click Criteria
- Filter: Type
- Description: is Purchase Order
- Filter: Select Create Item Receipt (Custom Field)
