NSC | Send E-mail When a New Task is Created

User wants an email alert when a new task was created for their Customer.


Below are the concept steps to create an email alert:

  1. Navigate to Lists > Search > Saved Searches > New > Task
  2. Search Title: Enter Title
    1. Example: Send Email When New Task Is Created
  3. Click Criteria
  4. Click Standard
    1. Filter: Select Date Created
    2. Date Created: Set to "within today"
    3. Click Set
  5. Click Email
  6. Send Email Alerts When Records Are Created/Updated Checkbox: Enter Checkmark
  7. Click Specific Recipients: Select your target recipient(s)
  8. Click Customize Message
  9. Click Save
