NSC | Disable the Case Creation Notification Email

The customer wants to remove the case notification email upon case creation and tried to inactivate the template but received an error: "You cannot inactivate this template record because it is setup as a default template".


These Case Notification Emails are required and cannot be emptied in Setup > Support > Case Profile > Notifications. Standard templates are used by default for these notifications.

The best possible solution is to edit the template by going to Setup > Company > Email > System Email Templates.
