NSC | Remove -New- in Custom Lists
There is a requirement to hide or remove the -New- option in a Custom List. To do this, we need to edit the Permission of the Role so that the Custom Role cannot add new values for the Custom List. Kindly follow the steps below:
- Navigate to Setup > User/Roles > Manage Roles
- Click Edit beside the Custom Role
- Click Permissions
- Click Setup
- Change the value of Level beside Custom Lists
- Level: Select View
- Click Save
By doing the steps above, the New option for the custom list will be removed for the Custom role.
