New to NetSuite | Permissions Needed for a Custom Role to have Full Access to the FAM Module
The Fixed Asset Management SuiteApp is used for automating the acquisition, depreciation, revaluation, and retirement of Fixed Assets. However, only Administrators have full access to the SuiteApp. In order for other roles to have access, the administrator must add Permissions to the role.
Here’s how Administrators can get it done:
1. To create a new Custom Role: Setup > Users/Roles > Manage Roles > New
To edit an existing Custom Role: Setup > Users/Roles > Manage Roles > Locate Role from the list and then click on Edit
2. On the Transaction Subtab: Add the following Permissions and corresponding Level:
To set the level of access for a permission, click a line in the list, and then select the level of access from the Level column
