How to Write Script to pull shipping quote from Shipping provider to estimate?
We are still working on automation. Everything is just about complete and ready to go with a couple of exceptions. One of those items is shipping quotes.
Does anyone have any experience with getting shipping quotes to automatically populate on estimates (or sales orders) from their shipping provider? We do not have a lot of experience with scripts in NetSuite, so we were hoping somebody here could point us down the right path.
Here is what we were thinking. When a sales estimate is created, a workflow would trigger to run a script. The script would pull the destination address as well as the shipping option (ground, freight, etc.) from the estimate. The shipping origin would have to be a static address for our production warehouse.
