New to NetSuite | Items 102: Non-Inventory Items
Aside from Inventory Items, which was thoroughly discussed in a previous article, your business might also need to use Non-Inventory Items. Non-inventory Items, in general, are those items which we purchase for our own use or for reselling but are not tracked in terms of quantity.
In NetSuite, non-inventory items are usually for the purposes including, but not limited to:
· Recording and tracking items that you always drop-ship
· Recording and tracking other items that you sell or purchase but do not stock
There are three non-inventory item sub-types namely non-inventory items for sale, non-inventory items for purchase and non-inventory items for resale
