SuitePeople U.S. Payroll: Removal of Pay Codes
This notice is intended for customers who are using SuitePeople U.S. Payroll.
What is Changing?
Effective September 21, 2023, the following pay codes will no longer be supported by SuitePeople U.S. Payroll. Many of these pay codes no longer apply because the tax credits behind them have expired.
Required Actions
Starting September 21, 2023, NetSuite recommends you use a different pay code in lieu of the after-tax deduction codes:
- Health Care Premiums: Domestic Partner/Civil Union
- Health Care Premiums: Same Sex Marriage
For all other pay codes that are no longer supported, you must set all payroll items using them as Inactive prior to starting the payroll process.
