New to NetSuite | Extension Manager Overview
Backend Activation improves the performance of the activation process by using MapReduce Scripts (SuiteScript 2) onwards jobs. These jobs allow us to handle large amounts of data, it can be divided into small and independent parts, and these can be parallelized. Users are also able to leave the Activation Manager page after throwing the activation.
Extension Manager is the entry point to manage the activations step by step. This can be access by going to Commerce > Extensions > Extension Manager
The screenshot below shows the parts of the Extension Manager.
1. New Activation – Generates a fresh activation for a domain and website. If you need to activate a theme and extensions for the first time on a domain, click this button. See Creating a New Activation for instructions on creating a new one.
