Standard Lists on Entities refer to a List on an Entity that is not custom. The list can be determined as Custom if it can’t be found defined in Custom List, Records, or Segments. Additionally, the name will be recognizable as a NetSuite entity such as Customer, Contact, Vendor, Item etc.
You can create data augmentations for standard lists by using the Data Augmentation tool in a two-step approach—first using the tool to create a dimension for the standard list and then using the tool again to extend entity. Please see below for detailed steps:
1. Create Custom Dimension to bring in the attribute.
2. Create Augmentation for custom dimension
Note: Label can be edited in this step
3. Create an entity extension
4. Edit the field and Update the Treat as Dimension
5. Update with the custom dimension created in previous step and select the primary key
6. Save and schedule your data augmentation
