NSC | How to filter the results of a dropdown field depending on another field?
Some businesses has the requirement to have a dropdown/multi-select field to show specific values depending on the values of another field. In this topic, we will show you on how to do this by utilizing the Custom List and Record feature.
Create a Custom List:
1. Navigate to Customization > Lists, Records, & Fields > Lists > New
2. On the Custom List page, set the Name (In this case, we'll use Product Area) and feel free to add any values you need for the list.
For our example, we've listed values for Product Areas as seen below:
Create the Custom Record:
1. Navigate to Customization > Lists, Records, & Fields > Record Types > New
