Accounting Preferences
NetSuite QuickStart Edition offers accounting preferences to enhance and streamline accounting operations. These preferences allow for the configuration of default accounts and provide control over the management of accounting periods. It is advisable to establish these settings during the initial account setup, although they can be modified as needed throughout the system’s use.
The following profiles can view and edit accounting preferences:
- Administrator
- Full Business Access
- Accountant
There are two methods to access accounting preferences:
- Click the Ask Oracle button to open the Oracle NetSuite navigation page. Under the Accounting section, choose Settings, and then select the Accounting Preferences
