Segments

Users can create custom segments to categorize their data, including customers, vendors, items, and transactions, allowing for tailored analysis. This enables businesses to generate financial insights and make informed decisions by organizing data into specific groups for targeted reporting. 

If the standard NetSuite QuickStart Edition segments don't align with your organization's unique requirements for data categorization, you can create custom segments.  

There are two ways for you to create and access your Custom Segments: 

One is to navigate to your NetSuite QuickStart Edition account by going to Ask Oracle > Administration > Customization > Segments

 

Other way is to view a customer, vendor
