Create a Segment

Users can create custom segments to categorize their data, including customers, vendors, items, and transactions, allowing for tailored analysis. This enables businesses to generate financial insights and make informed decisions by organizing data into specific groups for targeted reporting. 

On Customization > Segments page, click Create Segments button to get started. 

 

When you create a segment, there are only two segment templates available which are Class and Department. You can create one of each type.  

Step 1:  Choose the type of class from the two options and input your Segment name. 

Note: If you create multiple segments using the same template, the segments will all share the same segmentation values.
