New to NetSuite | Making a Vendor a Project Resource
Successful project management often involves working with both internal teams and external partners. While employees are commonly assigned to project tasks as discussed in New to NetSuite | Making an Employee as a Project Resource, vendors such as contractors, consultants, or service providers can also be designated as project resources.
By making a vendor a project resource, users allow them to be assigned to tasks and track their time, ensuring accurate project cost tracking and billing.
Steps to Make a Vendor a Project Resource:
1.) Navigate to Lists > Relationships > Vendors or use the Global Search to find the vendor.
2.) Edit the Vendor record
