New to NetSuite | Changing the Customer on an Existing Project with No Transactions
In Projects, users can change the customer of an existing project. However, this option comes with some restrictions if the project has related records or transactions. Below are the records considered as related to the project:
- Transactions
- Actual time entries
- Contacts
- Child projects
- Actual charges
- Personalized rate card associated with the project
If the project has none of these associated records or transactions, users can easily change the customer.
Steps to Change the Customer of a Project Without Transactions:
1.) Go to the Project Record: Navigate to Lists > Relationships > Projects or via Global Search
2.) Check if there is a Change Customer
