A Commerce Category is a hierarchical structure of product categories, subcategories, and products, with the Catalog at the top of the hierarchy for each existing site in a NetSuite account.

This structure enables customers to display and assign items to specific categories, helping to present products in a clear and organized way for shoppers to navigate.

Products can belong to multiple categories, allowing for flexible organization (e.g., by season and by demographic). Commerce Category structures can be simple (single-level) or complex (multi-level with subcategories), depending on your needs.

This feature is applicable to SuiteCommerce and SuiteCommerce Advanced (Vinson or later).
