Managing multiple Customer closed-won -Looking for feedback???

Just wondering how others are managing duplicate Customer status closed-won for the same Customer (company).

Basicly I have a contact John Doe who works for Widgets Inc.

In January a lead for John Doe was enterend to NS, provide an estimate and he ended up purchasing product, Lead changed to Prospect to Customer status closed won.

July 1st another lead from John Doe was entered into NS(clicked on a link on our website). John requested an estimate, purchased another product and again became a Customer status closed-won.

So when I search for Widgets Inc. the serch results returns to Customers listed as Customer status closed-won.
